- 1 lb sirloin beef cut into small pieces
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 small tomato diced
- 1/4 green pepper diced
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Pinch of tumeric
- Red Chilli Powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup water
- Spaghetti (1/4 bag), broken into 1/4s, boiled in salt water
- Bag of chips/crisps (Lays, Miss Vickies, Sticks, any regular flavoured chips will do) crushed
- Ketchup as garnish
Method:
- Put together ingredients from 1 - 11 in pressure cooker or in a pot with 1/2 cup water. Cook until done. Should not be watery or too dry - just moist.
- Cook spaghetti in salt water until done.
- Layer dish first with cooked meat mixture, then cooked spaghetti and crushed chips/crisps on top. Then again with meat mixture, spaghetti and the crushed chips/crisps.
- Decorate it by squeezing ketchup in a swirl or zigzag on top of the chips/crisps.
- Can be eaten as is or with bread.
